:D
He came bearing gifts from himself and my fam! You have no idea how happy I was to see Reeses.
The parents sent some official World Series Champions gear! <3
Feelin' the love before going to EDI House for a delicious dinner! Then it was sleepytime for E and homework time for yours truly.
The next day, Ethan joined my Italian class downtown for a little field trip! Here were are in front of La Basilica di Santa Croce. Then we went to La Scuola di Cuoio, the leather-crafting school. :]
I've been wanting to inside the church for ages, so we went back that night!
Ethan, the math major, looking at Galileo's tomb. ;]
Michelangelo's tomb - pretty amazing.
It was dark when we came outside.
Handsome boy!
Average girl. ;]
This is Piazza di Santa Croce - so pretty!
Then we walked down to the Arno. That's Il Ponte Vecchio in the background.
Gorgeous by night!
Afterward, we made our way to one of the most famous pizzerias in Florence, known for its Napolian-style crusts, which are much thicker than Tuscan crusts.
Anxiously awaiting our food. This expression pretty much sums up our night at Il Pizzaioulo, because it was way too crowded and the pizzas did not live up to our expectations. But, enough complaining: we were in Italy, after all!
Then we joined my friends for a true Italian experience: watching the newest Harry Potter films at one of the only theatres in Florence showing it. ;] I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoyed it all the same, and Ethan was pleased, which was more than enough for me. :]
awww hooray for being reunited!!!
